Weekend Fun

I'm back home from a long weekend and a very successful holiday craft faire held at the Lincoln Hills Community Church in Lincoln, Ca.   I think this was a record year for them with about 70 vendors inside and in the patio area.  This is always a fun and easy show to do, and the best part is spending the weekend with my mom.  After setting up on Thursday afternoon we're able to walk away with no worries about what Mother Nature might have in store.

With only one 6 foot table per vendor, vertical is the only way for me to go.  The table is
always set up and waiting for us, so all we have to do is haul in our props and goodies.  The
new larger dolly I bought really came in handy and saved my back from another episode
 of "down and out."
We had some excitement and a few minutes in the spotlight on Saturday morning when a crew from Good Day Sacramento came to visit.

We made a quick detour to a block sale on Friday morning before the show started.  The pickings were slim, but at least I got my junking fix for the weekend.  Love the pudding
mold and I think the cast iron skillet might end up as a base for a cloche.  Yes, that's Prince Albert in a can; remember that stupid joke?  For 25 cents, why not?

I was attracted to the Parisian prints in these vintage Turner Wall Accessory pictures, but the frames...not so much.

My favorite block sale finds are the picket fence planter box and the rusty candle holder lantern.

My favorite craft show finds.....

I didn't buy all of it, just a plate from each table.  Calories don't count when you're away
from home, right?

That cast iron skillet would be perfect as a base for a cloche. I never would have thought of that. Love your vision!!

  25. It looks like so much fun -- is there a lot of competition for your style of jewelry at fairs like those?

  26. Hi again Betsy! I was about to ask if you took home those tables of foodie goodies heehee Wish I could have some! haha

Your setup was for the win! I love the elegant vintage appearance. I almost thought it was a picture from an expensive store or a hotel.

Have a great week ahead Betsy!
