Playing with Numbers

I've been playing with my stash of little numbers and trinkets again.  I love these vintage inspired ceramic number tags and always have fun matching them up with bits and pieces of found objects.  I posted about the first batch of these necklaces here, and I'm happy to say that they've all found new homes except for one.

867-5309.  Remember that Tommy Tutone song from 1982?  People who were unfortunate enough to have this phone number in any area code were bombarded with "Is Jenny there?" prank phone calls.  You can thank me later for having the song stuck in your head all day!!

I couldn't make an old song out of this group, but I did have fun playing with them.

Hope you all have a great week.  I'm going to dive into the mess in my garage this week and make an attempt to get myself organized out there.  So many projects and so little room!  Wish me luck, I'll need it.

  1. Betsy,
These are all so very pretty and how funny that you had the correct numbers for the song (now I will singing it all day). Thanks for sharing at my party.

    Blessings,

  16. Charming little creations! I love how you group similar items to create a mood with your jewelry. I think it really makes people stop and choose the perfect one out of the bunch. I am not so good at that and tend to make things that don't go together at all. I watch and I learn, Betsy, I watch and I learn.
