Vintage Inspiration Party

Welcome to this week's Vintage Inspiration Party.  This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.  We're so happy to have you here and we're really excited about our new co-host who is joining us this week for the first time:  Marianne from Songbird.  Your party links will now show up on all four blogs!!

vin-tage (adj.) 1.) used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc. 2.) used to describe something that has the best qualities or characteristics of the things made or done by a particular person, organization, etc.

Let's take a look at some of the awesome treasures that were shared at last week's party. Thanks so much to Marianne for choosing these wonderful features:

  Paris themed hutch makeover
I love that wallpaper!  What a great idea to repurpose a hutch for a little girl's bedroom.  Paris Inspired Hutch Makeover by Simply Vintageous

  Teenage girls bedroom makeover
This is an amazing room makeover, you won't believe what she started with.  From painted furniture to homemade artwork, there is so much to see in this teenage girls' bedroom makeover by Far Above Rubies.

  Sette makover in Toile
Paint and fabric, the miracle workers of the DIY world.  I am sure you will marvel at this settee makeover in toile by The Heathered Nest.

                                 Cutting Board Signs
From the kitchen for the kitchen. What a lovely repurpose!  Cutting boards turned into signs by Denise on a Whim.

    Decorating with vintage trophies
If you can find a vintage trophy you are in luck because they are so versatile.  See how Kathleen uses trophies in her vignettes, and some other great uses around blogland too.  Check out how to decorate with vintage trophies at Charm Bracelet Diva.

  From bed to sofa
What do you do when you find a great bed, but nobody wants it because of its awkward size? Well, repurpose it of course. This project from bed to sofa was done by Crafty in Canada.

  Hutch makeover Coffee bar
Oh, I love this makeover too. The hutch is great to begin with, but in this lovely blue it
truly shines. As a coffee station it will just brighten everybody's kitchen.  Hutch Makeover
