How to Use Old Junk to Display Pretty Flowers

With summer in full bloom, I thought this would be a perfect time to round up some of my trash to treasure projects where I've used old junk to display pretty flowers. I hope you enjoy my junky flower containers the second time around! Just click on the title below each picture to take you to the original post.

twelve trash treasure ideas for using old junk to display pretty flowers

I'm always trying to think up new ways to display flowers in old junk. I just wish the plants lasted as long as the containers. How does your container garden grow? Do you like to use unusual old junk or do you prefer traditional containers?

  2. I love these really simple ideas. A pot is not just a pot---anything that can hold dirt can be a planter. And some plants only need water. Great post, thanks, Sandi

  8. Every single idea is so cute. I think my favorite is the ammunition box just because it's much better to hold flowers than ammunition!

  12. Wow, Betsy! You had so many great ideas over the years to turn junk pieces into pretty flower containers. Who needs a store bought flower pot when you can have one that is so unique and has a story to tell.
    Have a lovely day! :)
