My 2016 Favorite Trash to Treasure Projects

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday celebration! I don't know about you, but I'm feeling the need to kick back and relax awhile before the new year and new adventures begin. I always enjoy looking back through the year and re-sharing some of my favorite projects. So.....in no particular order, I put together a collection of my favorite 2016 trash to treasure projects. You can click on the link below each picture to see the original post. I hope you enjoy them the second time around.

turn the side of a rustic old crate into a one-of-a-kind tray
make a new cloche with old lamp parts

how to turn a new crate into a one-of-a-kind custom dog bed

turn vintage tree light reflectors into a bouquet of flowers
how to update old frames with burlap, paint, and vintage jewels
create a one-of-a-kind whimsical pumpkin person with vintage bits and pieces

how to make garden planters and tea light holders with cast iron garden posts

turn a vintage carrying case into display shelves

my favorite repurposed and upcycled trash to treasure projects of 2016

We're really looking forward to a new adventure in 2017. A few months ago, I posted about the beginning of our downsizing, relocating, and purging goals in Unloading the Clutter One Cabinet at a Time. I've been working on the process a little here and a little there, but now it's time to get seriously serious about it! So, if my junking adventures and repurposing projects are few and far between, you'll know why. Who knows what fabulous junk I'll rediscover and eventually repurpose. I'll never stop. It's in my blood.

~ Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy, and prosperous 2017 ~

  9. So hard to choose a favorite because I love them all. But if I could only choose one my pick would be the tray. I love trays...any color and any size! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  10. I never cease to be amazed at your creativity - even on a second look.

I love to use forks in my decor and I might just stick a fork in an old teapot today!

    Happy New Year!

    1. Hi, Carol. Everything is just fine here; you're so sweet to ask and wonder. We've been so busy trying to get the house in order so we can get it on the market by the end of March. Most of my "junk" has been moved to storage in my attempt to declutter, lol. Not much time for anything else these days, but hopefully that will change once we get relocated. Still posting on Facebook and Instagram.
