A Jolly Good Weekend in the Vineyards

The back roads of Livermore, California were alive with wine tasters and shoppers this past weekend for Holidays in the Vineyards, their annual wine country tradition. This was the fourth year I participated as a vendor at Big White House Winery, John Evan Cellars.

A family owned winery located located at the end of a small two lane road in Livermore's wine country.

Gorgeous views of the vineyards...

Just as the road comes to an end.....

....the party begins.  Each of the six vendors had a table set up in the tasting room.  Once again, my table was located just under the hanging Christmas Tree; I was sure tempted to hang necklaces all over it.

The walls of the tasting room are lined with paintings created by Laura Marion, sister of co-owner, John Evan Marion.

Standing room only.

It was hard to get a good shot of my display because of the large window directly behind the table.  I actually needed sunglasses inside!

Even these sweeties were enjoying their day in the sun.
"Yes Ma'am, I'll smile and pose for a treat."
Malibu, Angie, Gizmo, and Gene Autry were visiting from 1luckydogrescue
in Pleasanton.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  Now that my show schedule has come to an end for the year, I really need to get busy with a little holiday decorating and shopping.  It seems like I get started later and later every year.  Oh well, it all gets done eventually.

  1. Looks and sounds like it was a fun and successful event.
I have really been a slacker this year, and I don't have a good excuse like you. :)
Cold and dreary again today. I need to get out and don't wanna.

  2. I can't think of a more fun or beautiful place to display your jewelry. hugs, Linda

  3. Wow! What a fantastic venue! My (limited) experience selling has shown that shoppers + glasses of wine = a great event. :-) Just out of curiosity, how many shows do you do in a year? Happy Holidays!

  4. Next year I will mark this on my calendar! The local winery in town hosts a showing night and it always a huge success!!!

Now it's your turn to shop LOL

    Ho Ho Ho

  5. This looks like a lot of fun. The weather looks perfect for an outside event. Stop by my blog. I just posted a vintage garland tutorial and giveaway. Thanks, Cindy

  6. Oooo! I want the little doggie on the lower right!

He would need his sweater here, for sure....

Looks like a wonderful time was had by all and your display was pretty spunky!

I wish I could come shopping and see it all close up.....

Thank you so much for visiting My Salvaged Treasures. Your comments inspire me, so please don't leave without saying hello:-)
