I always enjoy reading blog posts about vintage finds.  Thrifty treasures from flea markets, yard sales, thrift stores, and curbside finds always grab my attention, but this one was different...

Last month I was reading one of Diane's posts (Lavender Dreams) where she showed off
some thrifty and very pretty vintage towels she found.  The one that caught my eye was personalized with the name of my very best and dearest friends for over 35 years.  Even though Ilse moved out of state several years ago, we still keep in touch and can talk for hours about our vintage finds and junking adventures.  She loves vintage linens.

When I asked Diane about it, she was kind enough to send it to me along with another towel.  I'm happy to say that Ilse loved her personalized towel and I love my red and white apples
 and little shells.
Thank you Diane for sharing your sweet vintage towels with us!
